What steps are you taking to embrace aging as a journey of growth and purpose while balancing physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being?

Hello. I retire June 1, 2025. I have joined my local fitness center and hired a personal trainer that I meet with 2 times a month for a personalized weight training program to build muscle and core strength.
i work out 2 times a week now and intend to work out 3 times a week or more when I retire.
I am actively seeking Spiritual Growth by reading books on the subject and attending my Church much more often.
Your Senior Bookshelf has many great books listed. Thank you for that! I have already ordered 3 of them. Another book I have read is called “Creating a Spiritual Retirement” and I recommend that one.
I am looking forward to retiring when I stop living to work, and start working to live!
Growth must be physical & spiritual – balanced. Both are vitally important. After those 2 are met, for me, everything else will eventually fall into its proper place. But for now, those are my 2 areas of emphasis.
I like this website ” Spiritual Seniors”. Thank you.
